Atal Tinkering Marathon

Students of Uttam School for Girls, Kashish Gupta and Deeksha Sharma along with their mentor again Ms. Prerna Ranjan made the school proud and received certificate of appreciation from Honourable MD R.Ramanan for their commendable work in Atal Tinkering Marathon.

Tinkering Marathon-12/07/2017

As a launch of Atal Tinkering Lab, a 48 hour Tinkering marathon has been organised on July 12 & 13 for a group of 50 students by Indirapuram Public School. This gave a chance to share their ideas with one another, explore & tinker with a variety of tools(Sketch up, Arduino) to innovate & create.

Visit to an informative workshop-27/09/2017

We are aware of the fact that Niti Aayog has taken an initiative of setting up Atal Tinkering Labs in selected schools to help children explore and innovate new things. Delhi Public School Ghaziabad is one of the fortunate schools. It had inaugurated its ATL Lab on 27/09/17 in the presence of many prestigious guests. The inauguration was followed by a workshop in which Himani Kaushik and Daisy Sharma of Grade IX had the privilege to participate. In the beginning, they were told about different and effective stages of innovating an object or device. After this, the students were divided into various groups. Each group was given a problem and they had to find an efficient as well as creative solutions to it. The task was really engaging and numerous tools were also provided. At last, they were also shown the 3-D Printer and a flying drone which was made by the students of DPSG themselves. The event was a great learning experience.

Visit to innovation fair -10/11/2017

The ATL Core team of Uttam School For Girls got the privilege to visit KIET Engineering College for an innovative fair. The exhibition highlighted the problems faced nowadays and provided an innovative and a simple solution to it. 

It was a great learning experience.We learnt a lot and hope to implement such ideas into reality.  

Press Conference-10.5.18

​Students of Uttam School For Girls attended the Press Conference at NITI Aayog which was organised to recognize the efforts of Top 30 Innovations from all across the country.They were given posters signed by Mr. Ramanan and the plan of action for coming months was also discussed.

Blockchain workshop-29.6.18 to 1.7.18

The students of Uttam School for Girls attended a 3 day workshop on blockchain organised by Generation Blockchain, an initiative of Camp K12 and Atal Innovation mission at IIT Delhi from 29th June, 2018. The curriculum of the workshop was focused on providing the participants an insight into blockchain. During the course of the workshop, the students explored various new softwares like Meta mask, Truffle, Visual studio, Remix to name a few. They had a great fun in buying and transferring ethers, creating their own cryptocurrency, deploying a contract in the name of the school and even creating a full stack application. As a whole, the students had a great experience in learning something new with the help of eminent instructors.
